The crust is the best part! Yeah, I know, pretty sure I went through that phase too….I remember first liking tomatoes, then hating them, then loving them, and I can’t remember any reasons why…..
I am sure at least Arts/Crafts class has one, or maybe tucked away in the teacher’s lounge. They wouldn’t work to cut a sandwich anyway though, got to get the bread under the bar running parallel to the blade. Frazz should use a power washer, she will never ask him to cut her sandwich again.
Fortunately, an alert teacher passed by and saw the cutter, which, though in the teacher workroom, was within reach of trespassing students. After removal and destruction of the dangerous appliance, counselors were brought in for any student that had been traumatized.
In a related item, Frazz was reprimanded for having touched a student lunch without authorization, for having altered a state-mandated menu, and for using an illegal knife, which should not be on school grounds.
More counselors were called in for the students who had seen the knife, and school was called off until the next Monday, as state inspectors entered the school to search for any more potential weapons or dangerous instruments.
Frazz was issued a warning, and allowed to keep his job, but with a one-week unpaid suspension and compulsory attendance at a school safety course.

I’m surprised he didn’t find a way to talk the kid into eating the crust. No reason to cut them off.
