linus! it’s linus!

Linus mentioned, but still over a a couple months away from his introduction.

I can’t wait to see baby Linus

The story of Linus and Lucy begins.

Charlie Brown might have agreed to the swap, however, if he knew that Linus would become his best friend.

A friend of mine’s second child is due in about a month. She was so happy because her 4-yo is thrilled to hear of a brother coming. I warned her to realise that he probably thinks Mummy is going to bring home a kid of his own age. Thought hadn’t occurred to her, so she asked him what he expected. I was right.

Linus mentioned, and Lucy seems as big as Charlie Brown.

And then came Sally.

The ages of the characters was never a strong suit, continuity-wise. I’m reading ahead to the 1958 Complete Peanuts and noticing that Violet is bigger than Chuck. And the newly mentioned Linus eventually is in Charlie Brown’s class (they get busted playing “hangman”).

Lucy is consistent—she never wanted Linus around from the beginning.

And so Linus is finally me tinned. And Lucy really disliked him from the very beginning. If Charlie Brown had known what a great friend Linus is going to make, he would have probably traded away.

how did she grow up so fast, shes now CB’s age and mentality.
