Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Chuck, Chuck, Chuck – you’re missing the bigger picture here! Become her agent, book her as a Checkers prodigy, get her into competitions and take a cut of the prizes!
On the bright side, it inspired me to do a little digging in the archives, and we only have about three months to go before baby Linus finally makes his debut. We’ll see his first appearance sometime in February 2017. :)
Thanks for posting the link. Of course, GoComics changed things so people can’t post the actual comics anymore (which has really lessened the experience over at “Andy Capp” and probably many other comics I don’t personally follow). Comparing the classics with the currents was always lots of fun. As for THIS strip, Charlie Brown has not yet begun to fight (or to lose ten thousand games of checkers in a row to Lucy)!
Reminds me why my mother said we couldn’t play chess at my parents house anymore. I taught my nephew, who was eight at the time and I in my late thirties, to play chess, and my older brother, who was in his mid forties, couldn’t win a game against either of us. When he threw the chess board across the room my mother said no more chess.
So is this the real reason they decide to remove most html coding from the tools we had available rather than the claim of fighting off spammer abuse? So that they could once again get away with blurry colorizing Sunday Peanuts Begins. Doubt that’s really the case since they removed most of the html coding, leaving us with bold face and italics only, at least a month ago. If not two or three. But it does get upsetting that one of the tools some of our fellow posters were using to give us the clear version when the Sunday comics were blurry is now gone.

Why so blurry???
dlkrueger33 over 8 years ago
This is obviously a black-plate printing issue. Why does it only happen with THIS strip?

Geez, Charlie Brown is a jerk in this strip! (Does GoComics know about the problem? This is the only strip I’ve seen where it happens!)

Bold & italics. Someone at Gocomics needs to check this strip after it’s posted.
