Was the tune while being cranked Ludwig’s ninth symphony?
If this had been published at a later date, the tune on the jack in the box would have been “Roll Over, Beethoven.”

I was thinking the head should be that of Haydn, and the tune played by the box should be the theme from Haydn’s “Surprise Symphony”.
Ah, the days before bobbleheads…
maybe it played the surprise symphony!
I can’t read music is this regular jack in the box music or Beethoven music?
And, thus, Schroeder changed his name to Alex and became the Clockwork Orange….
I can’t picture Schroeder doing a bit of the ol’ ultra violence. Now, LUCY, on the other hand…….
Schroeder looks kind of puzzled. Like, “Who is this Beethoven Guy?”
