Boy: Fall has a ton of different colors. Spring has basically one, but it's gorgeous. I'd hate to live where there aren't seasons and trees. Frazz: You've never seen a desert sunset.
Where are you that spring has only one color? There are a million different colors here in spring. Riotous, beautiful splashes and fountains of spring flowers and trees!
Actually, even without the flowers, the early buds on the trees, if you look closely at the woods, are beautiful shades of red, orange and yellowish green…very subtle, but beautiful…
Oh, to be in Albuquerque in the afternoon, watching the clouds coming in from the west about 4:30 and watching the setting sun color the clouds and the Sandia mountains. Gorgeous.
YES. Thank you! Love the desert. That’s not to say I don’t have a patio full of green leafy plants, but Death Valley, the Sonoran, so beautiful..would love to visit the Gobi, Atacama, Namib, Sahara…..
Lots of different shades of green around here, plus the blossoms on some of the trees, red leaves, and then the black earth that has been turned over and planted. Soon there will be the light green stubble of the corn and beans coming up. Been able to find the beauty where ever I lived, and I’ve lived in lots of different settings. I feel sorry for people who only see beauty in one kind of terrain.
Sunset in the Oregon desert, sunset on the Kona coast — both to die for. But, as has been pointed out by others here, each season has its own color palette — all photograph worthy.

I’d miss the seasons, if I’d ever experienced any. In Phoenix, there are only 2 seasons: Hot and not quite so hot.

Or sunrise. Or mid-day, when the sky is so intensely blue it’s violet at the center.

You can always welcome spring into your heart, and it can be any colors you like. Too sappy? I really mean it.

We’re already past peak spring, but, believe me, the azaleas make it anything but monochromatic down here.
