Puck: Elvis has a new toy. Lupin: What?! Where's my toy? Elvis: Puck, it's true. The People bought a new toy just for me, and it's awesome. Puck: I don't think- Puck: Elvis, charts prove 9 times out of 10, the People get us toys in 3's. Elvis: Such a simple machine. (RATTLE RATTLE) Puck: There are subtle differences. Elvis: The Woman and I have this cute game where she'll take the toy and put it in the Nursery and I have to sneak in and steal it back! Elvis: I KEEP WINNING! Woman: Gimme that.

I love Elvis throwing the toy around and enjoying it so much—- and the game he plays with the woman just adds to his enjoyment. The expression on Lupin’s face is a scream. His fangs showing is hilarious! And then Puck with his investigative reporting—-he always has a couple charts on hand.

Hello, everyone!! Today begins ‘Breaking Cat News’ DAILY on GoComics, until about the beginning of June! We are doing this to bridge the gap in the archives and sync the comic up, so that when we return to Mondays and Thursdays in June the comic will be current and brand new on this site and the original site! Hooray! I wrote about this here in the comics about a month ago, and here we are!
I hope you enjoy a ‘Breaking Cat News’ strip every day for the next month and a half or so!

One of the cats I had when I was young was a thief. (May be part pack-rat?) My Mom was missing her watch, a ring, and a silver Bic Jotter…guess who my Mom thought was “borrowing” her things? Fortunately, I found the stash under Mom’s bed—-with the cat running out the other side. Caught “red pawed”.

You constantly amaze me, Georgia, with all you accomplishment. When the two strips weren’t up this morning I simply recalled you said this was Gwen’s first birthday and your sister was visiting so you were busy. Now it seems that as well as celebrating Gwen’s birthday and the visit you were setting up this whole new system!!!

Our Casper loves the scrubby from the kitchen sink. I hear him at night banging it against the tile floor as he carries it around.
We had another cat that loved my chains. She would dig thru a little plastic box I kept on the dresser until she found one. I finally bought her a cheap one and she would drag that chain all around the condo.
Her brother liked the little tiny brush that came in the plastic blush box. I didn’t use it so tossed them in a little bowl on the sink. He would get one and rub his face all over it.

When we got our Mango from the shelter they told us he loved to carry his toys around. Apparently toys were defined as pens, nail clippers and embroidery scissors. I have gotten pretty good at stowing them in a box Mango hasn’t figured out how to open.
