Plot twist. She might not be from this country. If so, then where? Can Ray go without a parole violation?

Ummm, pehaps it would have been wiser to discuss your leaving your career and us getting married and moving to another country with me first, BEFORE you quit?

If he is on parole, can he legally move out of the United States?

Isn´t the US her country? Also I´m still rather sure she is under cover to get him away from his secret guards.

“My Country” seems to make no sense to me. I wonder if it is a typo for something else?Or, conversely, could “my country” be some sort of euphemism for her house, her apartment, or her way of life? I do not know… I guess I am lost. I do not think and it seems too odd to consider, but could she be a foreign born person, who was here working as a parole officer and she suddenly decides to quit the job AND leave the country? That sounds too damn fishy to be true.

3/28 — she’s from Noorh, which Ray says he’s Googled and it doesn’t exist. It could be trouble if she’s related to King Rolo Ramji — Ray’s father was connected to him, too.
