I finally get it. This is a satire of the famous âHitler diariesâ that were published by the German magazine Stern in 1983, and verified as genuine by a number of âexperts,â until it was shown that they were written on paper stock that didnât exist until well after WWII.
The characters shown in the final frame? I recognise Dongwood (from âDongwood and Blandieâ) and mmmmmmaybe Kilroy was there at the bottom, but the others?
