Bill Gates did not have many dates as a young man, now he is worth billions. Girls, choose wisely.

So, a wise way to choose your date is by his wealth?

(Mind you, I have never been interested in dating anybody but geeks, as I’m a geek myself - mutual interests.)

Petey is feeling empowered! His depth and substance have absorbed the tiniest bit of André’s élan. Watch out, world!

Do ya think Bill Gates would have got where he is if he didn’t work 150 hours a week but rather chased women? Some guys got a family in their 20s, some got a future.

hildigunnur, Vikings didn’t have horns on their helmets, yet a horned helmet like Petey’s is nowadays commonly called a “Viking helmet”. Go figure.

“distancing mechanisms” haha love that. I know some people with distancing mechanisms- one person in particular who I work with who shaves his head, paints his nails black, and dyes a long beard a bright cherry red…. basically to repel people lol.

It was long believed that Vikings only wore horned helmets for ceremonies and never in battle, but it is now known that one did wear a horned helmet in battle at least once.

It was probably just a prank Viking warriors would play on one another. They’d get drunk and brag about sleeping with each other’s wives, and when someone passed out with his helmet on the others would glue the horns of the cuckold on it.

Then he’d wake up and the other Vikings would laugh and make dirty jokes, and he’d be all “What’s so funny? Sven? Olaf? C’mon guys, let me in on the joke!” until he looked in the mirror, and then he’d get all huffy and the rest of the guys would laugh even harder…

I believe that the horned helmet came from the front of old viking ships. And people assumed that they wore them. Btw, does “a person of depth” mean someone that has gone off the deep end?
