I [mentally] chuckled at all the blog posts (except Loretta Young, which was a little creepy), but I laughed aloud at the catcoon. What does that say about me?
A unicorn wonton out of items pilfered from a rivet factory and a sawmill? Sounds like folk art destined to be worth a lot of money in 50 years – go for it.
RE: “Dressed Up” in the blog - based on clues in the picture and the quality of the color in the photograph - that’s my older sister dressed up for Easter, 1954, Denver, Colorado.
Sorry, this is just bugging me…Yesterday, I ran the Polish cartoon’s question through a translator and it says something like “What are the bells of doing in the early morning?”
And I can’t figure out the answer based on the letters.
Does the translation sound right? Anyone know the answer?
i apologize to the poorly dressed human on the blog , possibly departed, as i first thought you were napoleon dynamite
and then i thought, what a horrid drag outfit

I think it is probably seaweed as the wrapping for the hot dog sushi. Not a big fan myself, but I have eaten it.

L&H! My favorite is “Blockheads” with the ever present Billy Gilbert and James Finlaysen.

I hate it when I miss reading the blog for a couple of days. It makes it hard to catch up. Does Teresa ever sleep?

Why am I stupid enough to read the comments before the blog? As for the strip, I agree with the third woman.

RE: “They” on FB - Edison did NOT invent the light-bulb. That is a common misconception.

no, Edison did not invent it, but he made the first one that was a practical means of providing light with electricity.

oh yeah, gurls don’t have prostrates , huh? I saw a real gurl laying prostrate on the ground just the other day.
I SAW that with my own eyes! so don’t tell me a gurl can’t have a prostrate. I didn’t just fall off the turnip truck yesterday, you know!

if you rob too many rivet factories , you are hooked for life.
the last time I ordered unicorn wonton soup, I was suspicious that the chunks of meat floating in it were indeed, unicorn meat…..

shytimes2 is perfectly correct - as usual. What a woman! Oh, sorry - getting a little off-target here…

Warning - a SAD story, really.

I am proud to say I am educated at the Frog Applause site… by both it’s creator and it’s sharp followers.
This time, by Ushindi’s provided link, in response to shytimes2’s comment, in regards to the blog’s pic of Loretta Young.
Interesting stuff… and yes, Ushindi-pretty dimmed sad.

First the apple, then cake, and now this (for women, it’s always about the food).
