Has the father of these two PITAs made any move to straighten their disgusting behavior out? Allowing his new wife to be tortured like this is ridiculous. Dumping on the brats is totally his responsibility, if being nice doesn’t get it done.
Why didn’t the girls stay back home with their mom? They didn’t need to move with their father if they didn’t want to. One of my strict dating rules is “no-one with kids”. I’d never be a step-mother.
Teenage girls like to create lots of drama in their lives.Best way to deal with that is an attitude of indifference, unless the issue has real merit.Brow beating methods never worked for me.And putting them outside in a tent is about the worst advice I’ve heard in a long time, unless you’re in a hurry to be a grandparent!
The best months of my childhood was when my father took a job north and took the rest of the family. I stayed with my grandfather. When they got back, it was misery, from my father, who thought I was actually having a good time. He squashed everything.
My sister was adopted. The first four years with her in the family, we moved every year, six weeks into the school year. She was four when leaving institutional care. Now that’s unstabilizing trauma. She managed to get through it with only a decade of alcoholism.
Why is everybody painting both girls as troublemakers? Molly is the one doing all the complaining and P,A. comments. The other girl hasn’t said or done anything since they moved in.

A step mom, step brother, new town, new school – yeah, I can understand her misery. And the eagerness she has to spread it.

In the beginning, it’s always difficult to get used to a new place.

Does the other girl ever talk? Molly’s been doing all the talking for both of them.

AsharahWhich could also be a sign she is holding it back until she explodes. Both need professional help.

In the same house on the same block? It would be hard to live in the same house on a different block.
