I do, too! And I’m not technically old.

I’m 50 myself. That’s really not old.

Just passed that “milestone” (or is it “millstone”) myself. Happy Birthday from one Plugger to another!

I don’t subscribe to a paper anymore, just comics.com, ucomics.com, and dailyink.com

Happy B-day Gary!! -when people described themselves as “old”, my great aunt used to say: “you’ll change your mind about that in five years’ time”…

Yeah, HB from a 72-yr-old who’s been loving Pluggers since he was a little kid! . …Well maybe not, but it sure seems that way.

Also, don’t say your old. Simply define your age as a “Speed Limit” with no limit!

I’ve always found the Seven’s hard. You know, 37, 47, etc. It’s when you’re no longer in the Early or Mid Somethings but the Late Somethings. So in a few months when I’m 67 it will no longer be possible to think of myself as not-yet-old but rather as actually old, since 67 is almost 70 and there’s no fooling anybody when you’re in your Seventies.

Anyone got any spare Paxil? Wellbutrin? Anything?

Thanks, all! I really appreciate the kind remarks and well wishes. Pluggers is such great fun to work on, and I especially love hearing from all the folks out there that identify with the Plugger lifestyle. As to my birthday, it’s a big one! But I don’t feel 60 … look it, perhaps, but that has it’s benefits, also … Love getting those Senior Discounts (often without even having to ask). I hope you all have a great day, and thanks for reading our little feature!

Who says you have to be “old” to be a plugger? I’m 41 (yes, a woman who will, at least for now, admit her actual age!) and I find myself identifying quite closely with a lot of the Pluggers I read here.

And yes, I always read the comics section in my local newspaper first too (just not in my robe and pj’s on my driveway)!

P.S.: Happy 60th Birthday, Gary! My newspaper stopped carrying Pluggers about a year ago so I was very happy to find it here. It’s one of the first things I look at when I get online every day.

The comics, the sports, use the rest to wrap fish, line bird cages, lay down for puppies, or throw it in the trash.

“Pluggers are old.” We are officially reaching the bottom, people.

After the funnies, I go to the editorials, to see which grain of salt to read the rest with. Everybody have a big piece of cake with ice cream & whipped cream & cookies in the sides & a cherry on top. The meat & veggies will have still gone bad when you get to them.

I’m 40, and if I’ve learned one thing since the fall of the Nixon administration, it’s that 60 isn’t old for a human being (never mind a sequoia).
