They built a condo on top of a mountain in NC, near Grandfather Mountain. It was so unstable, it was declared uninhabitable before it was finished. I don’t know if it’s still a blot on the landscape, or if it ever got torn down.
had exactly that happen in my area…a beautiful knoll where a bachelor herd of elk loved to sunbathe in the winter…some developer built a bunch of houses and had the audacity to name it “Monarch Court”…it USED to be where the monarchs hung out, but not anymore….the price of progress….

Let’s hope he doesn’t fall backwards off that rock and into the sea for any reason. That would be terrible?!
