I often wondered with some folks whether they were walking the dog or it was the other way around.Linguist’s Law on training Dogs, Horses or Kids: You have to be smarter than the beast, to train it !( I was good with 2 out of 3 .)
Reminds me of Yosemite Sam in various cartoons: Whoa doggie, whoa doggie, oh come one please, whoa doggie-wham!- when I says whoa, I mean whoa! (I notice he had a small scoop shovel).
