I’m just going to say this was half Nate’s fault,half Chester’s fault.

Whitey got off lightly.

That is kind of over-the-top

Nate is such a bully.

Guys … You are really taking a comic too serious. It was a dare from Nate to see if Whitey had it more than just his words. If he didnt want to hug Chester and risc things, all he could was say no. It is called personal responsebility, and some people seem to neglect it these days as if anything that happens to you os solely others fault.

Guess I was wrong with my prediction yesterday, that Chester would want to get hugged.

Whitey in the last panel sort of looks like the ad on the right for Cirque de Soleil LOL

I don’t see where all this Nate is horrid animosity is coming from. Whitey insists that everyone wants a hug and ignores the needs of those who don’t (Nate at least and probably more). Seems to me Nate just taught Whitey a valuable life lesson, albeit with some help from Chester.

Yup, I was wrong about predicting Chester liking a hug. Saaay, doesn’t Chester have a pretty tough girlfriend (who used to think that Nate liked her). Don’t they touch? Must be magical when that happens.

Oh, and btw — in his favor, Whitey does have courage — the courage of his (misguided) convictions. Nobody ever said it’s be easy. I hope he adds discretion to his valor now.
