Stayed up late to write this poemAnd let my imagination roamTales of thrills and dangerous spillsAnd watching fate deal bitter pillsA little help from Mike and JoeWould aid my ditty’s ebb and flowYet all I get is Jimmy Blake? The boredom’s more than I can take!I’ll try again tomorrow pleaseFor now it’s times to catch some ZZZzzzz’s!
The story just zigged when I thought it was going to zag. Three whole days at Notta’s place, right as her story is moving toward its climax, and it’s time for a scene shift so we can talk about brand new characters?
Jim Blake, of TV fame, and Doctor Noface? Sigh. Two more characters, one of them in the oddball category, to try to keep track of while figuring out what the story is and where it’s going. A PD detective’s life is never dull, nor neat and tidy….
This story took a sudden shift. I hope it doesn’t take away from the end portion of the Notta story. There were a lot of villains whose gimmick was facial disguises. Of course, Putty Puss in this story, Clayface from Batman, Chameleon from Spiderman. Also characters who hid their faces like the Blank from 1930s Tracy and the Brush from 1962 Tracy. I’d include Half n Half who would alternately cover one side of his face as he moved around to appear to be 2 different people.

Are we looking at some sort of ‘entrapment’ scenario?

Jim Blake is a retired Baseball Player from Mudville. My guess is he got into disguise after Casey struck out…

So if both Sam and Tracy knows who Jim Blake is and why he would be here, why doesn’t Sam say “Jim Blake is waiting for you downstairs” instead?

“Early in the investigation of the frame up”? Seemed like it was wrapped up pretty quickly. Didn’t seem like much time had passed at all.
