Puck: The Man is a vision in plaid! Puck: The Toddler pulled his shirt over his head, and now he's a scary ghost. Toddler: Spooooky! Tommy: It's a daring look, Puck. He's taking a real risk on the blue carpet tonight. Beatrix: I love it. Elvis: Everything looks ready in the kitchen, Lupin! Toddler: Oooooooooooh... Puck: And here she is, Lupin! Puck: The lady of the hour! Puck: The Woman is giving the Baby the traditional People birthday gift of FIRE- Elvis: WHAT- Elvis: ARE YOU INSANE?! Elvis: All this fanfare is FLAMMABLE! Man: Huh. Usually it's Lupin going after candles!

Did the toddler have a birthday party when he turned 1 or 2? I don’t remember. I wonder what the cats thought of His “traditional gift of fire”.That is quite insightful that the cat realized that it IS probably symbolic of the original gift of fire so many eons ago.

Love the robber mice – all spiffed up, bringing gifts. And Tommy’s adorable tux, not to mention Sophia’s très chic sequined gown! Little Beatrix is a great help – so enthusiastic and capable.

The Baby looks like she loves the gift of fire! Or is it the cupcake that excites her? Even Sopie is excited by the festivities—-she loves the spooky look. I also think the robber mice are so cute in their party frocks.
