    Makes you wonder if the evil guy is Danae’s real father. The skull over his head is so very like hers.

    I was thinking the same thing, cdward.

    This problem just needs to get bigger.

    Perhaps Ekert could start reading internet forums, grow so large that he throws the Earth off balance and into a larger orbit around the sun, thus solving global warming?

    I’d rather shoot a spammer. Especially one so dumb as to do it twice for one strip.

    @bergamot

    I fail to see how this catch-22 is a bad thing. :)

    @jfmcenanly

    That’s what they’ve been doing in the Middle East. And by the the cultural mores of the people being hit, the “unavoidable collateral damage” has been driving more and more people to vow revenge on America. Did we learn nothing from ‘Nam? Oh, wait, we’re human. Of course we never learn from the past.

    Ekert! Why couldn’t you be real!? ::cries:: Especially when we’ve got, as Danae would put it, “stinky poo-heads” (or something to that effect) in charge?

    Ahh, but if the Ekert has anything to do with it, it will end nicely.

    I guess we found out the range of the Ekert–it’s longer than their air-ground missile…

    For some reason, my mind wants to read this as: “This Can Not End. Well…Maybe…

    @ zev.farkas & HectorGonzalez:

    According to it’s Wikipedia entry, the last Phantoms in USAF service were F-4G Wild Weasels (used to destroy enemy anti-aircraft defenses) retired in 1996. The last AFRES/ANG Phantoms also retired in the same year.
