StCleve72-All so called “reality” shows are is “unscripted”. It is a way for the networks to make money and not pay the writers. I think it started during a writers strike.
I will always take a book over TV.Bill Mahers show last nite pointed out something I have noticed for several years, the fact that network news really only shows very brief news in the first 10-15 min of its total of 22 min, the rest of the time is taken up with crap found on the web or TV “journalists” sent out to discover the biggest awww stories they can find.Ever since one idjit network hired the lady from the early morning Today show the networks have been in a free fall. Time now has lots of content from People, and the reverse, some actual news stories now appear in People. After being a Time subscriber since 1965, I pulled the plug in 2005, and also canx, Newsweek and US News.I onlykept The Economist and SI.To get my national news I turn to South Korea’s KBS. Which has far better coverage than any US Network. BBC America is sometimes good as is the PBS news hour’But the networks “news” is bad and getting worse.their political coverage is the worst I have ever seen

Naked, afraid, alone. Just you and the camera crew, ambulance driver, medical crew, helicopter pilot. Reality TV. Go read a book.
