Castle wasn’t canceled, it ended. It was honestly over with, and (in my opinion) could have been completed two seasons ago.

My wife is a big “Castle” fan, and even she said the show’s quality had declined quite a bit.

I liked the show, but they were running out of plots, and Rick’s supernatural stuff was getting a bit much.

I think ABC, the producers, and the showrunner just got bored with it and wanted it to end so they wrote bad plots to justify the dwindling ratings so ABC could cancel it. That being said, several sources on the web say Fillion had Katic in tears with the bad way he treated her this year. I hope that wasn’t true.

New show runner killed it. Between the slapstick, unfunny plots, Fillion’s over-acting, and the enforced “split” between Beckett and Castle, show was dead in the water. Even Andrew Marlowe said in an interview he was extremely upset with what they had done to his show.

In case you haven’t heard, Stana Katic was leaving the show. Maybe the produceers decided they had no show without her…

Firefly was one of the best, short lived Sci Fi series. A Farscape sequel or spinoff would be great, too.

may be if the wish is a small one, then it will not be a new movie but just a tv commercial

personally lining up Straczynski and Fillion in a sci-fi series without network dithering that kept Bab5 on the bubble has potential
