Girl: Last week of school! Mr. Spaetzle: Are you going to miss it? Girl: What about my dance wasn't clear?
Clear as a bell to me.
Interpretive dance is an acquired taste.
She’ll miss it. like one misses a toothache.
I liked school, but I didn’t miss it when it was out, since there were plenty of other things to like, too.
Last day plus two weeks: “I’m booooored!”
It is June 20th. Around here schools have been out for more than two weeks.
My kids’ school gave them “summer homework” and if they turn it all in at the start of next year they get a prize. It’s all part of the “common core.”.Throw in a library that gives out a free book if you read 15 and my kids are in heaven.
There were those who didn’t understand Jules either.

My niece can’t wait to go back since she gets to go to an awesome new school.
I was one of the few kids who loved school and hated summer. I can remember dissolving into tears in my mother’s arms on the last day of school.
