Beware the kite eating tree!

Now… uh… are Charlie Brown’s worries are over thanks to Lio?

Now it’s “beware of the tree eating kite.” That is the perfect kite for Charlie Brown. I wonder if Lio will give it to him, or at least share it. I bet that’s a kite our favorite blockhead can fly… unless it spontaneously combusts… or drags him around… or the wind is not right…

Reminds me of the old Kangaroo/GreenJeans dispute over the correct terminology for a poodle eating a carrot. K would always say, “Here’s the carrot-eating poodle!” And GJ would say, “No, that’s a poodle… eating carrot.” Of course this discussion provoked in the minds of (at least some) kids in the TV audience the nightmare image of a giant toothy carrot devouring a helpless poodle.

See, now, the importance of that hyphen, students? Lio pwns that Round-headed Kid!

And coincidentally, I just saw the new Peanuts movie. Great job, Lio!

When I was little, I didn’t hear the implied hyphen when Charlie described Linus as “a blanket-carrying Sherlock Holmes.”

Remember the TV special in which Charlie Brown bit the tree and the EPA came after him? They may put Lio’s kite down!
