Frank: Hey, look at those! My first car was a Corvair, you know! Ernie: My first car was a Beetle! Frank: There was something special about driving old rear-engine models! I miss it! These days, most cars with engines in the back are so expensive! I wish I could afford one. Girl: I should have guessed they'd like rear-engine cars....guys like that are used to being pushed around.

Any Ferrari that’s not front-engine is a mid-engine. Should have used a Porsche 911 as the modern example.

All rear-engine cars that really worked had Ferdinand Porsche somewhere in its design history..BTOAnd for snob appeal, you could point out the Issetta is really a BMW.
