Considering a lot of this seems to be some form of insane population control that went out whack, and that life doesn’t seem to hold much value to Apex, I wonder how many of their cars, robots, and drones already carry plasticized human brains?
That’d be an interesting sideline, “Apex products are MADE WITH PEOPLE!!!”
Fox is a real nice guy. He didn’t have to help them, but he did. He is taking a parental role of a dad caring for his clueless children. In times like this almost nobody has any idea what’s happening, but he has educated himself and fast. They don’t understand what is going on yet, but they will be finding out things they would rather not learn, and they will have to learn fast to survive. The idea about population control out of whack is perhaps an inking of what may be reality for our worlds future, I hope not tho.
It’s not the spotlights that are deadly per se… It’s the operator at the other end that can slew the helicopter for a better view if they so much as get a glimpse of tail or fur, and the guns and missiles that are aimed the same as the spotlight.
Much like “The Worm Ourobouros”, and the initial Raven, we’ve lost the narrative thread where the action is being observed by the visitors from the future… now we are seeing things only from Holly’s view, and the others are nowhere to be seen. I can only wonder what’s happening to them?

We’ve already seen the origins of the Topsiders and their biosuits. Are we now seeing the first Airscouts?

Why is Doc drawn with his eyes squinched closed and his teeth showing? Doesn’t look right.

He knows the Doctor and Holly WILL be important in the future. Even if he doesn’t know why. Time Shenanigans.

They’re flying cars. They have headlights. The spotlights suggest they’re police cars, like Blade Runner spinners.
