Why on earth women want to drag their husbands shopping I will never understand. Usually these are the same women who would have a fit if their husbands dragged them to a sporting event.
I don’t call it delusional hearing. I prefer to call it selective hearing !Or, as my grandma used to say to me:" Yer like Billy Weir*What ye don’t want, ye don’t hear "
*Billy Weir being a character in Portadown, Ireland who pretended to be deaf .
That’s only the second time I’ve ever heard a reference to that kind of sandwich, the first time was in the great film “Harvey” where it was the preference of one of the guards at the local looney bin, played by the character actor Jesse White (who later played the lonely Maytag repairman in a series of classic TV commercials.)
When you know something makes someone suffer, give him the chance to opt out to show just a little how much he loves you.If he does it anyway, that shows how much he loves you.
Apparently it doesn’t matter what Opal wants to go shopping for. I think a lot more if I shop alone. If I shop with someone else, I’m less likely to put items back on shelves or do calculations regarding how much food costs per ounce.

When was the last time Earl actually enjoyed shopping with Opal? I hope not for their wedding rings and outfits those many, many years ago.

Shopping by myself with list……. in and out at minimal cost. With the other half, no list and four times as much as we need.

I’d rather have a sandwich than go shopping.
Not all women like shopping the same way not all men like sports.
