Phoebe and Her Unicorn by Dana Simpson for July 22, 2016
July 21, 2016
July 23, 2016
Transcript:
Marigold: You look sad today.
Phoebe: I'm experiencing some post-camp letdown. It's an adjustment, getting back to my ordinary everyday life.
Marigold: In which you ride a unicorn everywhere.
Phoebe: I never said I wasn't spoiled.
Riding a unicorn every day is not exactly ordinary, though in Phoebe’s case, where her camp also involved unicorns, well, I guess in HER life, it can be called ordinary.
There’s been several cases of Phoebe taking Marigold for granted already. It’s a natural progression, but I worry about the long term viability of the strip now.

Millie proposed that we vacation in places we hate, so that being home will be a let-up.

As the wise man said (I forget who) “A luxury sampled too frequently soon becomes a necessity.”

So, if we had horseback riding at the (human) camp I went to, what do they have at Unicorn Camp?
