With the unwanted addition of aches and pains from getting older it is easier to complain.

Plus, the convenience fee doesn’t even go to the laborer that’s not working.

Reminds me of one day when I had to take my garbage to the dump, separate all the recycling into piles, and stop home to pump gas into my car…I was thinking, "boy, if my mother could see me now! It has become a do-it-yourself world, Mrs. Olsen. Now, Im headed to the grocery store to go through the self check out line….

$2 fee? I wish. I bought 2 $15 tickets a few weeks back and it came out to almost $60.

I think the “convenience fee” should be called the “because we can fee.”

There’s presently a lot being done to prevent the biggest ticket scam of all – robot sales wherein big ticket buyers have their computers buy up all the tickets to big events, mostly rock concerts, and then legally but brutally scalping them through ticket buying fronts. It’s the reason Hamilton tix go,fo,hundreds of dollars – if you can get them at all. Bruce Springsteen and some other conscienient acts are spearheading this fight.

Hate to say it but if people are willing and able to afford those jacked prices, maybe ticket prices are too low to begin with. I know. I can’t believe I said that either.

Mrs. O is well aware of the eternal truth: The more you complain, the longer the gods let you live. Look around you and tell me that isn’t true.

So as I see it I am paying a convenience fee so that I can supply the computer, internet connection, printer, paper, and allow the theater to hire fewer people saving them even more money.

A few years back when Leonard Cohen (r.i.p.) was doing his first tour in years, TicketB@$rD bought ALL available tickets, and sold them for way in excess of their face value. I was willing to pay $50 or $60 because I knew there might not be many more chances to see him, but no way could I go $250. If I did that I would be subject to arrest and prosecution but for the licensed pirates at TicketB$@rD it’s just another day at work.
