Gil, you’re a genius. Anyone else would have concluded that Barry’s phone battery needed charging.

Guys, you’ve got about 2 weeks to lose this game 40-2 when every ball hit to the infield results in an RBI since there’s no one there to catch them, and then you can stack your baseball bats, toss a match on them, and start the football season bonfire.

From the position of his other hand, I’d say Kaz’s call interrupted a stream of some “entertainment” on Barry’s phone.

Three days in a row of Kaz. Must be a record. Young Bader getting his Kool & The Gang fix on again, “Celibate good times, come on!”

I’m impressed that Kaz has a cell phone. I would have expected the Milford coaches to try and page someone from a landline. And Gil shows some of that Rhodes Scholar intellect of his. And (indirectly) speaking of highbrow humor, you sure won’t find any of it in today’s Mopped Up Thorp. In fact, it’s pretty lowbrow.

As the presiding judge, let me start by saying I find this entire thing to be a sticky situation. Although, the plaintive’s attorney “pulls” at the court’s heartstrings, it appears young Mr. bader’s fingerprints are all over this situation and several other items. State Champion Thorp may coach by proxy but he’s appeared more times in this eternal story than ever before. Case dismissed. Tell your client to put that away and leave or the Court will hold him in as much contempt as the team does.

P-1: Kaz, you mean in Del’s Cell.P-2: R&W humor for our posts: Barry’s sitting by his “Joy Stick”.P-3: OK, cue the old Peter Pan standard: I won’t show up, I won’t show up, I don’t want to go to school, I don’t want to go to school, just to hear that I’m a Fool. I’ll never show up, never show up, never show up, not me. Yes, Barry, after meeting you, we all believe in Fairies.

Saw David play his senior year at Crest. And then later Buddy Green brought him back to our old HS in Stanley NC when they were both at NCSU. They put on a private exhibition game for the ones who were playing sports at our school at that time. Had some old hotshots from our town out there with Buddy and David. Got to see him dunk for the first time– remember when he was in college it was illegal – After watching him that close up and in his prime I also I believe the old tale about him being able to grab a coin off the top of the backboard. That guy could ‘sky’!!!!
