I thought the re-enactment questioner was Tess. Now I see her hair was too orange.

So I guess Tess was somewhere in the hotel where she was originally sleeping.

The official languages of Switzerland are German, French, Italian, and Rumantsch.

Tess will likely get the news about her hubby before Rikki learns about Abner.

So Abner wasn’t expecting to come back there …

The kidnapping had only one purpose, to lure Tracy to the waterfall. After that was accomplished, it’s purpose was completed.

I seriously doubt that Tess is sleeping thru all this. And since her legs are not tied, she could get up and walk.

Well, well! How they kidnapped Tess while she was sleeping with Tracy and not waking him has gotta be a pretty good trick! Meanwhile, on the mountain, Tracy could have aerated Kadaver and be done with it.

It is pretty easy to give chlorophorm to someone who is asleep…

After yesterday’s “cliffhanger,” I somehow suspected that we would cut away to Tess today.

I find today’s strip both boring and disturbing. Interesting.

Okay, we have Tess, and we know Abner didn’t kidnap her himself.So, will we see Tracy and Abner tomorrow?

This reminds me of the time Tad Martin and Billy Clyde Tuggle were blown off of an exploding bridge on ALL MY CHILDREN in the late 80’s/early 90’s.

Tad was presumed dead for a few years, though he was merely amnesiac, and ended up adopted by a vineyard owner from California, having been mistaken for her long-lost son.

Not saying that will happen here, but it’s possible Tracy will seem dead for awhile.

Might Abner’s actual gambit have been to publicly fake both of their deaths, that he might torture Tracy at his leisure …?

So either Abner’s Tracy obsession doesn’t apply to Tess, or he’s simply being professional. She was just an instrument to get to Tracy, nothing more.

Gweedo climbed up high and exclaimed,I hear that, Bill ! Well, she might at least recognize their voices, even with the blindfold. The important thing would be that she never saw them before they put the blindfold on. That’s what I think, anyway.

Apparently Kadaver hired a couple of local stooges to kidnap and confine Tess while he duelled with the lured Tracy. Perhaps they were (or masqueraded as) hotel employees, thus securing access to Tracy and Tess’s room and to this place of confinement, which looks very much as though it is another (unoccupied) room in the hotel, where (as the hired muscle say) the maid will find her.How long will it be before we find out the fates of Kadaver and Tracy?

But how would Tess recognize someone whom she has most likely never met?

I meant that she might be able to recognize their voice later in a police lineup. I wasn’t suggesting that she might already have known them before the kidnapping.

Chloroform would also have allowed them to take her from the room without her telling out or kicking or doing anything else like that to wake her husband.
