Ham, ham, the magical food! My kitty Whiskers would definitely have agreed with Puck that any successful party would need ham! And I definitely agree that a successful party requires plenty “water dishes”!

Yes, “water dishes” are essential. However, my kitty Chenille would like to put in a vote for fish. I bbqed some salmon the other day, and she was yelling “fiiiiish!!!” loudly and repeatedly.

Yang liked ham in much the way that he liked anything that was considered food. The one food that drove him absolutely bonkers, though, was bologna.

My cats love fresh turkey breast. Not the pressed kind, the Thanksgiving kind. So, I buy a whole breast, get two sandwiches out of it for me and the rest goes to the cats. One might say that there are starving people in the world and I should not be giving my cats such food. But, I donate plenty to charities to offset this. I hope the boys get some ham, they are good boys and deserve treats.

My Py, The Imperial firmly believes that Ham is the perfect food and will do anything to get it. Including climbing my back like I was a cat tree, jumping off my head and landing on the counter where I was cutting ham for dinner. So Puck, enjoy your slice of heaven. Py is jealous you have an entire one within your paws grasp :)

my first cat Scamper loved raw potatoes and just about everything else, but the 3 i live with now could care less about people food. although whiskers will help me when i break out the saltine crackers, very strange.

I’ve had a number of cats over time, but the most commonly demanded “people” food was ham. Why don’t the cat food manufacturers pick up on this???

Every day now, I have a problem. Do I read BCN here on GoComics or on its website first?

Yes. Concurred. You totally cannot have a proper dinner party without ham. It’s just not done.

Someone on the website asked for plush animals of everyone at BCN. Sound heavenly to me. I already think of them as plush and fluffy compared to how sleek cats are in reality. I think cats like ham because it’s salty like most canned cat food.

mmmm, ham. I rarely have it so it makes each piece that much more delectable :-) My current 2 fusspots won’t touch human food but previous furry kids all liked to help me with ham and other meats/fish/crisps/chips and too many other things that weren’t good for them. Had to keep an eagle eye on them when cooking and eating

Indisputable sources indicate that these are very good boys and deserve ham. This is verging on cat abuse. Speaking of cat abuse, The Man around here woke one of the cats up from a post -breakfast nap this morning to give her some medicine. The outrage !
