True story told to me by a kindergarten teacher: She pointed to a boys foot and said “That shoe (left) belongs on that foot (right).” The boy, puzzled, looked down at his right foot and said “How do I get both shoes on that foot?”
Indeed, the dim ones are the ones who can’t find humor in life, or comic strips, and who find a need to inject their misery and politics into every comment they make.

I’ve heard this one before. “You put your shoes on the wrong feet.” “But, mom, they’re the only feet I’ve got.”

I think Family Circus did this one years ago
