Cats do have built in invisibility cloaks, but they only work when the cat is absolutely still.

The black cats around here have long believed that humans can’t see them at night, especially if they’re hiding under the oleanders. They’ve apparently failed to realize that their eyes are still shooting out laser beams.

Bico is black & white, but she still manages to be invisible when she wants to be.

We had an orange tabby who disappeared into the carpeting color—-(it was a long time ago). Anyway, we named him Waldo, as in Where’s Waldo.

“If I don’t move, you don’t see me.” is the theory here. I tell guests that the cats are just a figment of their imagination.

I have a blanket from WWP and my black cat uses it for his bed, all nicely folded up, and if his eyes are closed he is invisible, I swear to CAT!

The rule with cats is: “If I can’t see you, you can’t see me.”

The man is using sign language when he says he can’t see Lupin. Nice touch.Realistic. Georgia has said they’ve tried to teach Lupin a few sign language commands.

Out walking in the redwoods, I would lose track of my tabby cat and spend five minutes calling for him until he twitched an ear and I saw him sitting by my side.

For some reason, when I imagine Elvis’ voice, I always picture Ed Asner as Lou Grant…

I love the pile of Lupin’s clothes next to Elvis on the counter in the last panel. Nice touch to remind us Lupin has to be in just his fur to go invisible.

Hey, are there any Deaf readers out there? I think Lupin needs a Sign Name! (For those unfamiliar with the custom, it’s a sign that uniquely identifies a person, and only a Deaf person can bestow a Sign Name.)

His little suit piled neatly on the counter, so he could become ‘invisible.’

Gee, I wonder how turning on the water might affect Lupin.
