This time it’s Puck who gets puffy at the sight of Tommy.

Lupin’s posture in 13 and his expression in 15 are both great.

Whipped cream and candy canes in the coffee cups?

And that folks, is how Tommy became a beloved member of the BCN staff!

As a person who has done rescue all her life (first one at 9) from a Family that has done rescue for generations…I LOVED THIS STORY ARC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And this is the point where I have to go get the Kleenex!

Tommy, safe and going home at last! What a great Christmas story.

Just brilliant. I can read this one a million times. I can’t wait until she has her own syndicate empire. Then after Charlie Brown’s, we are all around the tv set in the living room to watch “A BCN Christmas.”

Before Elvis got home, I loved Tommy’s traffic cone Christmas tree. Georgia is so inventive.

Loved this the first time, and I loved it again.

What’s wonderful is seeing the bits I missed the first time around, like the passing of the baton (I mean, microphone).

Strangest coincidence – last time, right when I got to the “Woman!” and [knead, knead, knead] panels, a random allergic event made both my eyes water something fierce. And this time? It happened again.

Sniff! That’s so incredibly sweet!

The boys are celebrating with hot chocolate, whipped cream, and a candy cane, now that Elvis is back. Far too many allergy attacks while reading this thing but just the right sprinkle of humor, like the “nibble, nibble, I love kibble…not today, cage-box” and the looks on Lupin little face. Love how Lupin jumps in front of Puck protectively. He might be the youngest, newest member of the news crew, but he certainly is the boldest. Love, also, the explanation from Elvis that THEY were wrong about Tommy. Also like Tommy waving goodbye on all fours, just like a cat might, and the blue coat on his Woman…just like the one in the greenhouse.

I would SOOO love this arc to be a little book! I’d buy a dozen and give one to every friend and family I know.

“Ha ha! Not today, cage-box! I know your tricks.”I feel as if I should say this every time I get to the door of my office.

I love how Lupin is holding his arms out to protect Puck. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE this strip!

After Ten Cats, this is my favourite strip.

It still brings a tear to the eye every time I read this story arc… love it :)

Look at that hairy little Maine Coon foot in the last panel. I just love Tommy! And I just love this story.

…I think Panel 6 is one of my all-time favorites. The eternal few seconds before full comprehension…

I’m glad Tommy was accepted in CN, as a roving reporter.

Our beloved Maine Coon, who passed two years ago, was led to our house and shown the food dish by a mystery cat, who disappeared, never to be seen again…

Elvis is so gracious when he’s admitting that Puck and Lupin were wrong about Tommy. I can read this overandoverandover….but I run out of tissue.

And Tommy does become one of their most adventurous reporters, bringing in stories from far and wide. Georgia’s storytelling is just phenomenal.
