Suny my cat is not MY pet; I’m HIS pet!!! It’s funny how cats think that they are the boss. We do love each other, however. His idea of getting my attention when he wants it right now is to wrestle with my hand and arm. Of course, he ALWAYS wins.

Good morning. We are actually having rain and thunderstorms here this morning.

Got the latest “Drs. Foster & Smith” cat catalog the other day, with an adorable kitten on the front cover. Having nothing better to do, I called their 800 number and told the woman that answered that “I want to order one but I can’t find a price or stock number for it”. After she stopped laughing, she said “You just made my day!!” It’s good to have fun once in a while!! God bless

Talk about cats’ persistance: I put pillow barrier on my recliner to keep cat(s) off but Oliver ‘broke through’. Whaddyagonnado?

I am wondering if somebody can explain this site’s moderation policy and what happens if you flag a comment? I went to the Terms and Conditions page and found only general guidelines about comments and nothing about flagging comments. My comment on Pop Culture Shock Therapy (Sept 7) disappeared. I thought my comment to be innocuous as it contained no profanity and nothing derogatory about another poster. When I checked on it in the morning, it was gone. On the same day, over at Big Nate, a commenter told another commenter to “Shut the F up”, twice in the same comment. That comment is still there. I am guessing that, for whatever reason, someone chose to flag my comment. Whatever standards the moderators use, they are not being applied consistently. Shouldn’t I have been notified if my comment was not up to the site’s standard? What are the standards, anyway? Apparently, though, one can drop F-bombs as long as they asterisk out some of the letters.

The photo of the Sock Thief made me LOL – and the cats looking at a bug. That’s so true!

This is not the worst thing that has happened to me since I started commenting, but it did make want to take a break from commenting. IMO, this [Ten Cats] is the best forum to get answers. Not as many trolls.
