He won’t be noticed.

Somehow, it’s working… in the classroom will be another matter.

That kid on the far left has a current for the time shirt. Way to go, Lynn ! (Big Smiley)

They seem more like middle school students than 1-6,and whats with the Kiss shirt,shouldn’t they be listening to the Bangles or Back street boys.

At least their moms aren’t driving them to school every day like today’s entitled kids.

My mom was a teacher in the school I went to. Obviously, I could have ridden to school with her, but I never would. I walked 15 minutes to the bus stop and preferred to stand in the freezing cold (wearing a mini-skirt!) with the other kids. LOL

Still cannot accept responsibility for his own actions. Amazing.

You can use it to get out of a test! “Teacher, I don’t feel very well”! “Go to the nurse, you look positively green”!

One of the lessons of growing up is to simply accept such things. My wife cuts my hair and one time we both forgot to put a guard on the clippers… noticed it after the first pass, though! I went bald for a few weeks and thought it was funny.

See – the things one worries about rarely happen!

(So – worry a lot!)

It’s the things you never think about that get you!

Ellie didn’t do anything to embarrass Michael. Michael did it all himself. He shouldn’t be missing school for something as trivial as a green dyed face. Ellie is that exact opposite of today’s helicopter parent, and the kids turn out fine as a result.

Middle School: where weirdness is born, briefly lives, and passes away in favor of a new generation.

Well, as Kermit sings, “It’s not easy being green…”

Still, I have the sneaking suspicion that being green could well be considered cool!

I wasn’t sure what point she’s trying to make. “Oh these kids today, they ALL look like they’re in costume!” ? I don’t know, they’re not THAT eccentricly dressed. Some are pretty normal looking, I think.

So far, so good…

What was the strip supposed to mean? Everyone at the bus stop went that way for Halloween? Or Elizabeth should have also worn green face paint and a green leotard and go as the Jolly Green Giant to divert attention away from Michael?

Gweedo. And where were you for much of the summer? I know you weren’t doing time because “it’s legal there”( bigger smiley )
