A printer used to be horrendously expensive. Now you can buy one for less than the cost of replacement ink. If the stupid thing lasts that long.

Who prints anymore? Just send teach the PDF version.

My teachers gave up on me. They would ask “other than A. and J., who didn’t do their homework?”

I never encountered a printer problem but have lost lots pages of writing because I neglected to Save, or the computer crashed in mid-stream-of-consciousness !

It happens…

I am so thankful we didn’t have this technology when I was in school…

After one of Apple’s Updates my printer lost its WiFi connection to my laptop. Spent several days getting the runaround from HP and Apple, They claimed that since it was more than a year old I needed to buy a new one. So now I use an USB cable when I need to print something and coax the paper through the old dried out rollers with a pencil eraser.

Doh!

Printer ejected the page directly in to the shredder!!

Actually, when you think of all the “all-in-one” printer/scanner/fax… machines out there it’s surprising nobody has come up with one with a shredder feature!

Yeah, fortunately we still have a [Delete] key and a Trash Can…
