    I frequented The Square Pan Pizza place when I was stationed in San Diego. The pieces were the size and shape of a pocket dictionary.

    My grandfather never would try pizza. Then my grandmother bought and ate a slice of the chef-boy-ardee variety. So she never tried pizza either.

    Sometimes the boxes are octagonal, though the pizza is still round. One of the mysteries of the universe. (I remember when they were still called ‘pizza pies’, shortly after man discovered fire.)

    Its all about the geometry. Its a pyramid of nutrition where the round meal fits in the square box and many helpings make the plugger diameter increase in radius.

    Pizza is a very personal thing, where everyone has their “fave” style!

    Our club offers “personal” pizzas, where how it is prepared is entirely s club member’s choice…
