Sign on glacier reads: Welcome to the Arctic Circle.
Eddie: *Whew* Made it. I'll give them an hour, then move on.
Ned: Um...that's not how a fall colors tour works, Eddie...
Eddie: My clients disagree.
Flo: That's it...closin' time.
Found this definition of anoesis: Anoesis is derived from the Greek word noesis meaning reason or intellect and the prefix a- meaning not. Thus it means, no reason.
Thatâs been the name of his boat for a couple of years nowâŠif I remember correctly (but I may very well be wrong, so PLEASE donât crucify me!), it was voted on by the readers.
fI youâve never been on a Fall Tour in New England, you are missing something incredible.
Growing up there, weâd pile into the car, on a Sunday, after church, and drive around looking at the Fall Foliage.
Even as kids, we didnât mind, because the trip always included a stop at a cider mill to purchase jugs of fresh apple cider.
The Good Lord willinâ and the creek donât rise, I hope to take my Ecuatoriana bride up there, next year, to experience all the colors and the beauty of New England in the Fall. Not to mention sampling some cider.
I tâs also my favorite song! And by the way, my real name is Alan but I call my self Nala when Iâm dressed up as a wizard for Halloween or renaissance fairs.
Of course Alaska has trees. But it depends on where you are and whether the moose and bears have knocked them all down in your area. What surprised me on my first trip there this past summer was that there were crape myrtles blooming everywhere, and I mean, everywhere. Somehow purple seemed to be THE color. And the huge dandelion flowers waved happily around in the wind at well above my knees. Glorious.
