Gloria, you know the only way to get him to stop would be to knock his block off.

You probably can’t do it by yourself…why not have a block party and stage an intervention?

Meanwhile…Monkey… from yesterday…I’m glad too, that there’s no election soon,,,,

But when there is we’ll just have to work hard and get you re-elected. I can’t imagine a better sheriff for Ballard County.But the Tiki??Don’t worry.No election can take your bar away…you own it!

Beviek, I like the telephone article, but what’s that black thing and why is that little boy wearing a hospital gown?

I AM old enough to know what it is and everything else. Unfortunately that includes using phones without dials and you had to speak to an operator to complete the call.

But what is this about not talking on and on and on???I guess not many people learned that lesson.

There was an old guy in the neighborhood who would do his morning “runs” with a backpack full of bricks and a dumbbell in each hand. My wife’s ancient toy poodle moved faster.

Apparently he takes his middle name, Sisyphus, really seriously…

Bev, Your phone manners article mentions nothing about party lines. We had one once when we lived in Chico CA I was in the 7th grade and it was just too tempting not to listen in. I quickly realized it was also boring to listen to two people talk about pot roast recipes.
