Linus, your sister takes that as a challenge!

I can relate to that. I’m sick of New England winters here in Boston.

If I have to drive in it I can be quite crabby.

I used to work with a woman who would complain about ANYTHING. And if she couldn’t find anything to complain about, she’d complain about not having anything else to complain about. She was like a 60 year old version of Lucy.

I’ll take snow over ice/freezing rain any day! If it gets too bad, I just don’t leave home. Our city puts down a chemical (think its derived from sugar beets) that helps keep the roads/streets from accumulating snow — unless it comes down at a rapid rate — and the plows do a great job of clearing what does.

I used to live in Wyoming, Chicago, Cleveland, then I finally got smart and moved to San Diego. Now if I want to see snow, I go to You Tube.

You have to admit, that a blanket of new snow covers up some ugly things out there.

When Lucy grows up she is the “Harridan of Wall St.” a well earned moniker. Though that is a more sexist one, she has plenty that are just scary like “The Hammer” and the “Butcher” for her actions with corporations she bought and sold with a sneer. Her younger brother, the Pope Julius IIII for twenty-two years officiated at her weddings and funerals.

Could do with some snow here. We may be heading into another drought around here if we don’t get any snow this winter.
