Reminds me of one of the older sci-fi movies, with “Invasion of the body snatchers”, 1978 version with Donald Sutherland had a particularly creepy ending.
A. This is a comic strip. None of this is real.B. Wally has shown himself to be in control of the dittos, and has been able to tell what is and isn’t a ditto illusion in the past, so I think we must believe that he can tell this is real.
The network at my job is a 10 Base-T with POe (power over ethernet ) a maximum of 30W of power per outlet. The power of two human brains per outlet, I’m gonna feel guilty each time I plug a cable in.
If Edmund is typical of Lucranian ships, and people are the typical energy source, then the real monsters in this story are the Lucranians. Hundreds of people per ship, that have to be replaced when they run down, and many ships throughout the multiverse. With their power generated by fear and anger and pain. Robert Asprin’s “Myth Adventures” stories called people from other dimensions “demons”, but the Lucranians truly are.
The interview was interesting but I don’t know what to make of the drawing of Wally and Kirbee. Part of it is the fact that Aaron drew her with blond hair and her hair is shaded too dark in the strip for me to buy that. The other is that I don’t quite understand Kirbee’s body language. Wally looks fairly dynamic and Kirbe seems purposeless. Its sort of like she’s thinking, “he told me I needed to carry one of these things and be able to protect myself but I have no idea what to do with it."
Maybe a lot of those people are Topsiders. Edmund could have lured them there, put them to sleep, and breached the suits. Transformed Topsiders would wake up as trapped mutants. Lots of nightmare fuel.
Holy crap now I know why it (looks like) it says Fitzgerald on the ship! Because it is the Edmund Fitzgerald! The AI said that the ships are made out of salvaged junk. That means the Edmund Fitzgerald was salvaged and turned into the interdimensional craft that we see right here.

And now the question is- who is in this “live” one?! Is this Holly!?
SeaFox10 about 8 years ago
Or is it something(one) worse?!?

And it was nice of the Dittos to place a check mark on it!

One of Wally’s friends or someone else? And why doesn’t the ship just discard those dead batteries?

I bet this “live battery” will be someone other than the folks we are looking for.

That is a LOT of dead bodies for such a short time. Maybe some of them are from other Dimensions.

Dead PEOPLE, Wally. (used as batteries) :-(

And what happens when the ship realizes Wally is stealing its batteries?

Off topic, but what does the gocomics thing mean about limiting comments to bold and italics. I don’t understand what they are saying.

Please be Holly. I want to know if she’s aware that her life has appeared before Wally’s eyes.

If the dittos can make a fully realistic world, how do we know that this hold full of corpses is even real?
