I don’t know about breath, but we have a motion sensor air freshener outside the litter box. We’ve had two or three cats since we’ve installed it and they’ve all gotten used to be hissed at by it when they go.

While these are very creative ideas, I usually just keep my nose/face away from her face – but that’s not as funny.
