So much for those doggie obedience classes, eh?

Wow, those dogs are fast. From a lazy slumber to a food-induced coma in two panels flat.

Is this going to be a Thelma and Louise type ending?

And just who decides to close their eyes and dream when a meal is ready - even if it’s a cold one?

If Cathy and Irving do decide on a child now, how will they ever raise it to behave? The dogs never did.

Obedience classes are for the owners, not the dogs. And I don’t recall ever seeing these two working with them.

Food… eye level to the dogs… the dogs just waiting, waiting… and finally get their moment!

I am a middle aged African American man and I have been a big fan of your strip since, well I can’t remeber. My Wife and I also have dogs that we consider our dog daughters, we are both working professionals and can relate and enjoy your strip, belive it or not, me more than her. I am sorry to see you go and wish you as much success in the future as you have had in the past.

Kitties would not do that. Cats eat in a dainty way.

Garfield would do that – and probably at least one of my cats would try it too.

I posted one yesterday – my wistful thinking one. I was so sure that Cathy and Irving would have a “later in life.” baby! It would have been such fun to go through the pregnancy with her; maternity clothes issues a fantastic opportunity. Cathy’s mom as a grandma to be is awesome. I guess I’ll have to dream on.

Overall I’ve really liked this strip; however, Cathy should’ve gotten married a lot earlier. It’s been better since she was married.

I have enjoyed Cathy for so many years and could relate to all her diet struggles, etc. Will miss this comic strip.

Iwa Iniki doesn’t know my cats! My dog however, would NOT do that. He knows better!

    Kathy is already pregnant.

She was going to say, “…driving to the hospital to have our baby.”
