I wear hearing aids and can tune out all the noise I know that causes the sounds that caused my hearing loss. I fully agree with Scott H. Bravo!

The Cartoon Network is on 24/7 and doesn’t have political infomercials presented as “news”, or air debates.They did have a Brak for President campaign once, though, back in 2000.

I wear hearing aids as well, and love turning them off when my kids are being annoying! :-)

I’ve gone to MANY rock concerts, installed car audio for a while, had a career as an auto mechanic, and still hear the wife coming home in the truck before the dogs do…

Hubby is deaf in one ear, and just turns over in bed when the kid next door has a party that goes on until 4 AM.

She must be on some frequency not used in rock. It is possible to be deaf on one frequency and not others, depending on the damaging noise.
