Looks like Posie hasn’t been the one trying to contact Mysta….but he does want to find out about her. My guess is Posie will soon find himself seeking the scalp of one Mr. Bribery.
Does Posie know of the Mindy/Mysta connection, and how could he have discovered it? He was overly devoted to her to the point of committing murder. Could this be something as simple as just wanting his daughter back?
While not feeling any strong need to see Posie again, I certainly have fond and vivid memories of his original appearance. Part of the original Posie story (1968) involved a runaway horse pulling an open-air coach in the park. Smash! The setting reminds me of the northern-most section of Lincoln Park. Gould had fun with it. The morbid curiosity of seeing Posie’s victims covered in breakfast cereal was riveting as a kid.
While the public’s knowledge of Mysta Chimera’s travails may be sketchy, she starred in The Moon Maid film, and has been the subject of gossip on the “Weirdness of the City” website.

Ever since the new Moon Maid was identified as Mindy from the Posie story I was wondering when Posie would make an appearance. With the current trend of bringing back Gould villains I figured it was inevitable. I wonder what part he played in the transformation process? Did he know his daughter was being turned into a Lunarian? This should get interesting now to find out what his goal is.
I see a number of people here have picked up on the Traitor/Trader Vic presumed pun. Though many locations in the USA have closed over the years, I’d guess Tracyville might still have one of the chain of bars/restaurants [Chicago’s, however, closed more than 10 years ago]. Vic the Zoo Keeper though, might not last long enough to enjoy another mai tai. As the edgy Selfy/Posie confrontation and information exchange continues, Vic becomes more and more expendable. Mr. Bribery is the wild card (in more ways than one).
Can Tracy and the MCU track Selfy in time to save him; to derail whatever Posie plans; to find out who’s been attempting to contact Mysta Chimera telepathically?

Selfy has himself to blame for his present sorry plight
Bag of cash did aid his dash. At the zoo he ceased his flight.
Vic has brought a stranger for an awkward conversation
Wears some posies on his hat. A dapper presentation
Cannot mask his nature as a man unwise to trust
His enemies they tend to die, soon rendered into dust.
What Posie fails to recognize is that Mindy is dead
Where once a troubled daughter, now a heroine instead.
Who she was not who she is: the courageous Onee-San
Who put her very life at risk to aid the dearest one.
Look to see no chimpanzee, it is Posie at the zoo
Selfy breaks out in a sweat. What’s a narcissist to do?
Posie now demands to know about the great Moon Maid
Those who anger Ermine tend to wind up in the shade.

How much does Posie know …?

Vic might have settled his debt with Posie but he might pay with his life to settle his problem with Selfy.
.
It seems to me like Posie knew Mysta is Mindy.

Thanks Pequod but I seem to have a teeny weeny problem with the last line if that refers to Moon Maid — me thinks Posie knew about Mysta

This Selfy blight
Got quite a fright
When in his sight
Someone short of height
Who’s purpose might
require a quick flight
Before things got tight
Into the darkness of night!

Needless to say, Vic is doing a horrible job of hiding Selfy

Selfy is still carrying the same phone, even if he’s not calling anyone. With the Tracyverse technology, that’s a huge mistake.

I didn’t expect to see Posie in this story, but it’s an interesting twist. What’s his game?

Selfy doesn’t look too happy with Vic. Will the latter meet an untimely end?

You already turned yourself in with that fool camera, Selfy…

Traitor Vic. Is this an oblique reference to the famous bar in Honolulu, Trader Vic’s?

So sad about Laura Pullman she isn’t the first an unfortunately not the last who will have this happen.
