Quick update on the van.I received over three hundred dollars in donations to the maintenance fund for the van since my client died.

Im going to see how much a “In Memoriam” to the back window will cost. If its not too much i think that his wife would be happy about it.

I just got the invite to test the new site. Before I do, I thought I read somewhere here that it messes up something.

Need good thoughts. I am set to move this week. Unfortunately, I found a bump on Buster. It is down on his stomach. it isn’t very big, but want it checked out. It isn’t a pimple. Anyway. it doesn’t seem to be tender, but he hates being touched so it is hard to tell. I need to see if maybe they can see him on Saturday. I am just afraid that trying to get him in before then might be a problem because I have people helping me this week and I can’t leave. The Vet is on the far side of town and just travel time would be a lot. I am sure he is fine, just want to make sure before it gets worse if it is prone to. Any extra energy will be welcome also. Will let you know what the vet says when I finally get in to see them.

So my good news for the day is that I am FINALLY getting my Internet hookup this afternoon! Woohoo! Before they could hook me up, they had to lay underground lines to my house and before they could do THAT, they had to find all the other undeground lines going to my house (electric, gas & phone). They got the line to my house installed sometime on Saturday while I was at work. Today is my day off, so sometime today between 4:00 and 5:00, the guy will be installing my Internet. I asked and Spectrum told me they provide a free download of spyware protection called Securtysuite. So guess who is going to be playing on the Internet a lot tonight?

Yup, as I guessed, this was Spanish weekend and Satuday night football was overdubbed in Spanish again. If the trend continues, the next game will be in English. I wish I knew why they are doing thios to me! My “ghost” must know Spanish!

MCTS from a couple days ago, thanks for our advice. I do plan on running Firefox on my computer rather than the IE my computer is already set up for. I did not think Windows Defender was enough protection, but just thought I’d ask

@Queen. Didn’t spend much time on the new site…nothing to brag about so far…will wait for final launch. I just hope we can post more than Links and bring back the glory that was TEN CATS. Hoping…hoping…hoping

TY to everyone who responded to my question. I guess it’s time I took a look at it.

It is easy to be prickly but takes more tact to write a letter that gets read to the end !

I looked at the new site. I don’t hate it and it was easy to navigate. I kind of liked the way they set up categories. It saves me from clicking on something then finding out it’s about children or religion.

I sent them my opinion and like others, begged for the ability to post pictures again.

As for the increase in price, I guess it’s like everything else. It’s pretty minimal so I don’t really object to it.

Guess I’ll have another look/see at the new site. It’s almost meaningless without being able to post pics…that capability and the great commenters are what drew me to TC in the first place. Gotta give it time…like lots of other things happening now……
