My husband & I have an advantage: we are both home on Fridays and we have school-aged children. We do all our wrapping – and most of the shopping – the Friday before, in complete privacy. Of course, we were in trouble the year the Friday before one of our daughters ended up home sick!
We do our wrapping Christmas Eve as well. I find it much easier to hide them when I don’t have to worry about them getting all ruined and ripped and squished. Plus, it’s kind of fun to just be with my beau, wrapping and watching a Christmas movie. Merry Christmas!
“This Christmas mend a quarrel. Seek out a forgotten friend. Dismiss suspicion and replace it with trust. Write a letter. Give a soft answer. Encourage youth. Manifest your loyalty in word and deed. Keep a promise. Forgo a grudge. Forgive an enemy. Apologize. Try to understand. Examine your demands on others. Think first of someone else. Be kind. Be gentle. Laugh a little more. Express your gratitude. Welcome a stranger. Gladden the heart of a child. Take pleasure in the beauty and wonder of the earth. Speak your love, and then speak it again.”― Howard W. Hunter

I’ve learned my lesson – never, NEVER leave wrapping for the night before.

assemble B part into C part with key of hex putting the force in position.

I’ve gotten good at reading Chinglish over the years. Worse yet are those instructions with no words, just drawings.

Thank heavens for whoever invented the BAGS! I just buy some and throw the presents in. I do wrap the big ones.

I’ve been in Roger’s shoes. One thing about the kids getting older: There isn’t much assembly required. Electronics and games are easy to wrap.

Why not wrap as you go?
Did they wait until the last day to even get presents?

I don’t think they left wrapping until the last minute, I think they got a TON of gifts for them and they’re not finished wrapping.

I just realized … Good luck wrapping that hockey stick. Somehow I predict a bow and maybe some ribbon, just to make things festive.
