Ennui among the grape-nuts. Did some fall on the floor?
Ick. Grape-Nuts. How in the world did that cereal ever get a name like that, anyway? With a name like that, I’d expect it to have raisins in it.
Lots of grapes have seeds. Hard little buggers. Is a pretty weird name, alright. Where I live one used to be able to get an ice cream flavor called “Brown Bread” that had Grape-Nuts in it. That was the brown bread.
On the bright side, it had sugar. Unless your dad hates sugar.
Those grape nuts are rough!
Perhaps they were eating flour dry.
Euell Gibbons seemed to like them—or maybe he was acting.
Perhaps I missed it in a previous strip, but — your dad calls you “Lucy”?
