I remember reading about how when they were doing the filming for this scene, Gene Kelly had pneumonia…he was dancing around and singing with a headache and fever while they dumped cold water on him.

These comments remind me of my mother in law’s parrot! She had a military mcaw (he was a real stinker lol) she would put a bird perch stand in the shower and turn the water on and he’d fly in there and take a shower and the whole time he’d sing “singing in the rain” at the top of his lungs lol
