All medical, be they Drs in the ERs all nurses and in many cases other, personnel, like Hospital labs, Xray Depts and many more, all work 12 hour shifts. 3 days out of 7. So every week is on different days, and if you work 1 or 2 days overtime, that also changes your schedule

Kudos to all the workers who work weekends and holidays. That includes the folks at the various grocery and gas stations etc that stay open.
